Heavy Metal Customs is a one man show that is owned by Rob Palmer. A few short years ago Rob's life was turned upside down and even taken to the point of life or death. He knew if he were to survive he would have to find something that he could find to focus on. He put that focus into redesigning and rebuilding a 1932 Chevy Sedan. A detached two car garage became his sanctuary and eventually his salvation.
. Some how Rob was able to tap into some skills and creativity that he didn't even know he had. After a year of day to day focus, he had created a very unique and incredible piece of art that has since been named "The Smoker". A one of a kind, power house with unbelievable detail. so outstanding that it is now on display at the National Corvette Museum next to a large collection of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's cars.
With his task complete Rob needed some place to put his focus. He began taking old parts and left over things from his build and started making unique and creative pieces of art. With immediate interest in everything he made, instead of going back to his 25 years of experience in sales and decided to follow his passion and keep creating.
Rob is a hard working perfectionist that is dedicated to providing his clients with a quality,, one of a kind art and custom furniture that will last forever. doesn't matter if it is a hot rod, a piece of art or an elaborate coffee table. No mater how big or how small, there is nothing that he wont tackle.
